Really pleased with these aquarium light risers I bought from FLAREFORGE on Etsy. 👍
They’re really nicely made and do exactly what I wanted them to do. The only little problem I came across was that they’re made for even-numbered glass thicknesses, 2mm, 4mm, 6mm, 8mm and so on, while my aquarium glass is 5mm.
So, a bit of improvisation was needed! 😂 I trimmed some 1mm adhesive anti-slip rubber grip tape and stuck it inside the risers. That was enough to take up the extra 1mm and give me a nice, tight fit.
Problem solved, and they’re now sitting perfectly on the tank. 👍🐠
It’s often the little things that need a bit of thinking outside the box!
